My blog topics were all in the “waiting for more info” folder… not yet ready for “prime time” so to speak.
As I searched my mind in vain for a topic, I made myself just start writing. Sounds easy, and as someone who prefers to know all the answers beforehand, it is difficult to just start.
As the words fell into a rhythm… still no amazing topic jumped out at me. And I kept writing more. And as the words morphed into paragraphs, I realized that I had my elusive topic. By starting to write, I had created a place where a spark could happen.
Sometimes that’s all there is- with writing, with design work, with life… a blind faith to get started. Maybe a spark will appear and ignite, and then again it may not, and that is ok today, as I had created a place for it to happen.
And I am learning what a gift it is to trust the process enough to start something without knowing the outcome, and just get started.
