for RESTORATION OF FIRST DUESENBERG EVER BUILT
When the restoration team could not find original wheel caps for the first Duesenberg ever built, they gave me a call. All I had to work with was this beat up original, on the right.
It had to be recreated from scratch… from each individual feather on the bird, to the lettering, to the shallow yet distinct depth of the zig zag panels. And it had to be scaled correctly to fit a recessed surface.
A masterful restoration of the car… congratulations, on placing second at Pebble Beach last year… it caught Jay Leno’s eye!
